Verduno

Verduno is one of the 11 Barolo villages, and also boasts its very own wine, Pelaverga. The village may be small, but it has 5 great restaurants and 2 wine bars, plus just a few minutes away are La Morra and Barolo, two of the Langhe’s best-regarded villages. Alba and Bra are each just 10 minutes from the villa.

Local Area

The Langhe is one of the world’s best and most varied wine regions. Famed for Barolo and Barbaresco, it also has many less well-known wines, such as Verduno’s own Pelaverga. The area is also a paradise for foodies, being home to both the slow food movement and the prized Alba White Truffle.

“One of my favourite things about the villa was its location… peaceful, yet walkable into the beautiful village of Verduno. We could also get to Alba, Bra and the other Langhe really easily.”

Getting Here

Verduno is in north west Italy, around 1 hour south of Turin. The nearest airports are Turin (1 hour), Milan Malpensa or Linate (2 hours) and Genova (2.5 hours). The closest train stations, with regular connections to Turin, are Alba and Bra, each around 10 minutes away. Being in the countryside, the area is not particularly well-served by public transport, so we strongly recommend you to have a car for your stay.
